Kate Spencer originaire de Bristol a participé aux échanges Bristol-Bordeaux en 1966 et cette expérience a changé sa vie. Sa correspondante française est devenue sa meilleure amie, une deuxième famille. Après avoir voyagé et travaillé partout dans le monde, elle s’est à présent installée à Bordeaux et s’est engagée à faire connaître et à renforcer les liens entre les deux villes.
Kate Spencer took part in the Bristol-Bordeaux exchanges as a teenager back in 1966. She did not only learn French and discovered Bordeaux, but also forged a long-life friendship with her exchange partner and her family. After working and travelling in various parts of the world including New Zealand , she has now settled in Bordeaux and is determined to help strengthening the links between the two twinned cities.
