\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On Thursday, 18th October 2018, our\r\nfriends from Bristol, Teresa and David Goodall, were welcomed at the\r\nBordeaux-Bristol Association headquarter with a drink reception, attended by\r\nseveral members of the association. They had arrived that afternoon from\r\nBristol and were staying with Huguette and Michel Bordeau.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

British Ambassador’s visit to Bordeaux<\/a><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On Friday evening, 19th October,\r\nthey were privileged, along with members of the Association BORDEAUX-BRISTOL,\r\nto attend an “Afterwork Franco-Britannique” reception, organised by\r\nthe British Embassy in France, at the Cit\u00e9 du Vin in Bordeaux. In his speech,\r\nthe British Ambassador, Lord Edward Llewellyn, highlighted the ongoing friendship\r\nand links which still exist between Bordeaux, La Nouvelle Aquitaine and the\r\nUnited Kingdom, despite the current difficulties. We were privileged to have\r\nthe Mayor of Bordeaux, Monsieur Alain Jupp\u00e9, to open the reception alongside\r\nthe Ambassador and he emphasised the important contribution that the ABB has\r\nmade in strengthening these ties.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Teresa and David stayed with Huguette\r\nand Michel in Gradignan and also in Arcachon together with Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Lenoble,\r\nthen on for a couple of days in Pau. During their stay in Bordeaux, they also\r\nenjoyed a delicious lunch with Nicole Boulounaud, followed by a walk along the\r\nRiver Garonne.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
